Hotel Pulitzer Amsterdam

I’ve always wished to see this beautiful suite at the Pulitzer Hotel! It might not be the first time you see it, as many bloggers took photos here for a project or a campaign. But I wanted to take pictures and share it anyway. We booked the suite for a photoshoot of the fashionlabel JOSH V. We took some photos and videos in the suite for a special collection which is now available! I’m in love with every detail of this beautiful suite, especially the bathtub standing in the living/sleeping room! Maybe one day I’ll book the suite for a sleepover party, who will be joining me?!

10 things to do in Le Marais

marais-todo

Bonjour everybody! I’m writing this post because a lot of people are asking me where to go in Paris. I would like to share some of my favorite places in the Marais neighborhood  (3rd & 4th arrondissement). I used to hang out here about about 70% of my time in Paris, because there are so many cool places and it is quite hipster. Here are some places I recommend if you want to step away from the touristic path.

One of my favorite resto’s is La Fronde at Rue des Archives. It’s a perfect place to have a glass of wine, a cocktail or tapas and the brunch on Sunday is amazing! They serve lot of food but just take your time,  after all it’s Sunday!

If you skip this conceptstore, you’ve missed the heart of Paris. Merci is one of the most famous conceptstores and it’s located on the border of Marais. At Merci you can find cool gadgets, fashion, interior accessories and a nice café with hipster food.

Place de Vosges, a small and nice park close to Rue de Turenne and is surrounded by nice restaurants and galeries. It’s so peaceful, a good place to take a break.

After shopping like a real Parisienne in Rue des Francs Bourgeois, Rue Vieille du Temple and Rue de Bretagne you must be starving and in desperate need of a good lunch. Paris New York is a good place to have a bite, something yummy for your tummy.

When you’re done with faire du shopping in fashion boutiques like Sandro and Majé, you should  go to Fleux’. You need to find  a delivery service if you want to buy all those pretty accessories and furniture because it’s all amazing! #iwantitall

It’s a pity that you usually eat 3 meals a day, at Marché des Enfants Rouges you have so many different cuisines like Italian, Mexican, Moroccan, Lebanese and Japanese. It’s hard to choose because it all smells so delicious, you just want to taste everything!

Besides a coffee bar Maison Kitsuné also has a cool clothing brand. check out their collection, the sweater with ‘Parisienne‘ is my favorite.

It’s noon so that means time for an apéro! La Favorite is a nice spot at Rue de Rivoli to have drinks at the terrace. It’s also nicelt decorated inside! Same style like Café Charlot.

Lily of the Valley is the cutest tea place I’ve ever seen. They’ve got so many different fresh flavors and their cakes are amazing!

My favorite cocktailbar with the best bites, Le Mary Celeste. L-O-V-E this place, wish we’ve had it also in Amsterdam! Also check out Candelaria and Le Perchoir.

Stockholm City Guide

STOCKHOLMDIARY

Hi peepz! I’ve been to Stockholm for 5 days during Midsummer with my dad. Visiting Stockholm was always on my wish-list. I’m always inspired by the minimalistic fashion and interior style, because it is a cool mix of old and new materials. I had a Swedish classmate in Paris and she told me that the ‘hipster’ Scandinavian style of restaurants and shops is normal for her because it is everywhere in Stockholm. What I really liked about Stockholm is the mix of urban and nature. It is not as busy as Paris or Amsterdam but still a great vibe. I took so many pictures during this trip trip, I would like to share them with you. See the links below. Enjoy and get inspired for a new citytrip!

Biblioteksgatan is a nice shopping street where you can find many stores like & Other Stories and Urban Outfitters (my favorite ones!).

Rosendals Trädgård is my favorite place in Stockholm. It’s an urban garden where you can walk around and see, taste en shop the products. They’ve got so many homemade sweets, drinks and a restaurant in a greenhouse. I tried a delicious carrot cake, blueberry cake and cinnamon roll with my dad. A must see when you go to Stockholm and the sun is shining!

ANNA + NINA

ANNA14

One of my new favorite stores in Amsterdam is ANNA + NINA. I haven’t been in Amsterdam for a year (yes, shame on me) so I was really excited to visit one of their stores. I took some photos of the one which is located on the Gerard Doustraat in the neighborhood ‘De Pijp’. They sell so many cute and cool stuff like jewelry, interior accessories and clothes. Everything is special and unique! The way they decorated the store is really inspiring, so take a look when you’re around!

MERCI

In Paris you find many conceptstores in the fashion field. My favorite one is Merci which is located in the 3th arrondissement. It is my favorite because when you enter it’s like a big house. The experience inside is amazing. They sell fashion, interior accessories, stationary, gadgets and books, all in one. Last time when i was there, they had an African print theme and the classic old red Fiat 500 had a new style. The clothes they sell are from their own brand Merci, Isabel Marant and many other cool French brands. The interior section is really big! I’m an interior junkie as well and they have a lot of cool stuff such as industrial lamps and nice tableware. If you are at Merci, I'd recommend you to take your time to see all the amazing stuff they sell on all the three floors!

PARISIAN SECRETS

Salut tout le monde! Here’s a little story about a couple of must-see's and just some nice pictures to share with you. Previous week, we had some really sunny but also rainy days. So I either went out to discover new places and enjoy the city or I had to stay inside and work on motivation letters. Sometimes when I cycle through Paris, I have to stop to take a photo of a cute corner or from just a nice terrace. Never think: Oh never mind I will go back later, NO! Stop and grab your phone or camera. Here are some photos from my Instagram with a little explanation. Bisous!

HOTSPOT: HUGUETTE

One of the places I recently discovered in the 6th was Huguette at Rue de Seine. This ‘bistro de la mer’ is always full of people who are enjoying a nice plate of oysters, fish & chips, mussels with fries or a good pasta vongole. They have got a extensive choice of wine too! You can also get wine and oysters ‘to go’ if you want, but having dinner there is a treat! In the afternoon their terrace is in the sun and it feels like you’re at the Côte d’Azur for a couple of hours. I photographed the decoration of Huguette, because I like the clean style with a mix of a couple of old things like the menu plates and their white tiles. The architect did a really good job! A tout suite!

Hotspot: Sajoer Slowjuice Bar

Sajoer is the first slow juice bar in Rotterdam. Their mission is to make people healthier and happier. I already knew Sajoer from the Markthal, but now they have their own shop at the Botersloot 46a. The juices are made of local and seasonal products. Besides the juices, they also sell salads and ginger shots! Not bad, right? The decoration of the store is very pretty, restful and a nice place to hang out with friends! For the party animals, they’ve got a juice for your hangover, in case when you can’t handle it and want to be fit ;)!

Claus

On Sundays, everybody in Paris is going out for a brunch. Almost everything is closed so it is the best activity to fill in your Sunday. I haven’t tried a lot of places yet but in my opinion, one of the best is Claus. You can choose different brunch menu’s and they are all magnifique! I can recommend you all of them. The products are all fresh, home made and super delicious. You also get a fresh juice (mixed fruit, detox or jus d’orange) and a warm drink. On the other side of the street, you will find the ‘epicerie’ of Claus for the to-go products and coffee if you don’t have time for a brunch. Make sure you have a reservation in the weekend!
