Hi everybody! The last week of October was Dutch Design Week in Eindhoven. I visited the Strijp S district where you can find studio Piet Hein Eek, Kiki & Joost and many young designers with innovative concepts and products. District Strijp S is normally a workspace where students of the Design Academy or other young designers develop their products. It is so impressive to see how they create cool products of new materials or unexpected combinations.

It was my third visit to DDW and it was very inspiring. I always start at Studio Piet Hein Eek and walk through Strijp S, after that I go to the citycenter where you can see the alumni of the Design Academy or Academy Artemis. This year I only visited Strijp S district because it’s impossible to see the whole DDW in one day! Strijp S is my favourite district because of the many pop-up restaurants, foodtrucks and young designers. When it is your first time at DDW, you should start your day in this district! I made some photos of my visit to Strijp S. I hope you will enjoy them as much as I do and see you next time in Eindhoven!
