Bonjour mes amis! It’s been three weeks since I left Paris. It was such a nice time and experience but I will return in June for a short visit to reunite with my Parisian friends! I still have so many spots and secrets to share but here are some photos of the most recent places i’ve discovered. If you need any suggestions for your visit to Paris, don’t hesitate to ask me! Maybe I will write a book about Paris someday, what do you think? Yay or nah? Let me know and leave a comment! Bisous x
Something else than Paris, fashion or hotspots. A couple of weeks ago, I took some pictures of Château Chambord, the biggest château of the Loire Valley. During easter weekend I visited this castle with my parents. I’ve seen it 4 times before when we drove to the west coast of France for family holidays. Every time i’m impressed by the beauty and splendor of this castle. It is so big and overwhelming. I had to share these pictures with you because the château is famous and impressive, really worth a visit!
What if the most popular and iconic fashionista of all times visits the fashion capital of the world? Right, Paris creates a huge exposition in Musée Des Arts Décoratifs. My niece and I visited the Barbie exposition. It brought back good memories of our childhood because we used to play with the barbies together. We had so much fun that day at the expo, throwback time!
In Paris you find many conceptstores in the fashion field. My favorite one is Merci which is located in the 3th arrondissement. It is my favorite because when you enter it’s like a big house. The experience inside is amazing. They sell fashion, interior accessories, stationary, gadgets and books, all in one. Last time when i was there, they had an African print theme and the classic old red Fiat 500 had a new style. The clothes they sell are from their own brand Merci, Isabel Marant and many other cool French brands. The interior section is really big! I’m an interior junkie as well and they have a lot of cool stuff such as industrial lamps and nice tableware. If you are at Merci, I’d recommend you to take your time to see all the amazing stuff they sell on all the three floors!

Salut tout le monde! Here’s a little story about a couple of must-see’s and just some nice pictures to share with you. Previous week, we had some really sunny but also rainy days. So I either went out to discover new places and enjoy the city or I had to stay inside and work on motivation letters. Sometimes when I cycle through Paris, I have to stop to take a photo of a cute corner or from just a nice terrace. Never think: Oh never mind I will go back later, NO! Stop and grab your phone or camera. Here are some photos from my Instagram with a little explanation. Bisous!
Last few days it was so rainy in Paris, but this weekend will be sunny (so they say). I told a french waiter that I had the feeling I was in Holland, because the Dutch people are used to a lot of wind and rain. What Parisian people surprises the most, is that Dutchies always ride their bikes, even when it’s raining haha! It is our main form of transport. I took some photos last week before the sky turned into one big grey cloud. I can’t wait to enjoy spring and relax in Jardin du Luxembourg with some french (study)books and magazines. I’m lucky it is so close to my place, just a few minutes away!
