Buongiorno! Previous week I visited the beautiful city of Rome with my parents and brother. We stayed in a hotel with a view on the Pantheon and it was pretty amazing! It is a nice place to stay because it is really located in the centre of Rome and everything is very near (Trevi Fountain, shopping streets, Spanish Stairs). The whole afternoon there were street musicians in front of the Pantheon so you could sit on a terrace at Piazza della Rotonda and watch them. The first day we went to the Colloseum and walked through the park where you can find the ancient sites of the Roman Empire. Rome is like an open-air museum and so incredible to see. It’s difficult to imagine how the Romans built those giant buildings in those days without any machine’s.

I did a little shopping in Rome, I bought two pair of Italian gloves in a small but charming shop. There are a lot of Italian boutiques in the neighbourhood of the Pantheon, like in the street Via di Campo Marzio. When you walk through this street you will end up close to the street Via Condetti with all the high fashion boutiques. Via del Babuino is also a street with beautiful stores and close to Villa Borghese which is also a must see!

I had a wonderful time in Rome and I love the streets with all the wonderful buildings in the city centre. What I like most about Rome is the ambiance of the streets, everything is old and very well preserved. There isn’t a lot of traffic in the city centre so you can go somewhere for a dinner on a square and it feels like you are somewhere in the countryside. Rome, you stole my heart! Ciao! X
