De Parade

Last week there was a theater festival in Rotterdam named ‘De Parade’. This theater festival is held in June every year. The whole city attended this festival because everybody was happy and excited to go to this special event. The event is full of crazy actors, dancers and musicians with unexpected performances. When I’m at De Parade, I feel like a happy child that is going to a fair full of swinging music, candy machines and other attractions. Like a dream come true, you can find an old-fashioned candy shop at De Parade! They’ve got all your favourite childhood candy and the candy girls are dressed in beautiful costumes.

Besides all the pop-up theatre on De Parade, you can also find a caroussel. This caroussel is not just an ordinairy caroussel, this one is going so fast it makes you dizzy, but it feels super awesome like you are lifted off the world! If you’ve missed the most awesome week of the summer in Rotterdam, don’t worry! De Parade is also visiting The Hague, Utrecht and Amsterdam coming July and August. Enjoy it!

10 CORSO COMO

Bongiorno! When I was visiting Milan, there was a conceptstore on my to-do list.. 10 Corso Como! This conceptstore is a must-see when you’re in Milan. When I walked in, it was like WOW.. The decoration and presentation of this store is so incredible, never seen something like that before. Not even in Paris!

In Corso Como, you can find beautiful clothes, shoes and bags ( for women and man) of different designers in a wonderful setting combined with a bookstore. The way the products in the shop are presented, they all seem like pieces of art. Besides the store, there is a cafe and a small hotel with three rooms. So when you’re in town, make some time to visit this wonderful store!

MILAN DESIGN WEEK

Last week I was in Milan for the interior exhibition Salone Del Mobile. At the same time it also was designweek in the citycenter of Milan. A lot of young and upcoming designers showed their new ideas of design in different districts like Lambrata and Brera. It was very inspiring to see all these new concepts, most of the designers are from Dutch origin. So it was super cool to see all these new designs from my country in Milan. I could not resist the shops so I went to the shopping area around the Duomo and everyday I had a delicious Italian icecream!  yum yum

I have made a lot of pictures of new products, materials, places and spaces. Here is a selection of the pictures, the rest you can find on my Pinterest. The link of the pinboard:
