Last February I visited The Jane in Antwerp with a friend and her parents. It was a spectacular evening. We had a 18 course dinner and all of the individual dishes were tasteful and unique. It was my first time in a real Michelin-star restaurant. The interior of the restaurant is amazing because of the beautiful combination between an old church and modern design. The kitchen has been placed under the magnificent apse, where the altar used to be, and is encased within glass walls making the entire cooking process visible. The light installation of the skull above the kitchen is a real eye-catcher when you enter The Jane. When you want to make a reservation, you will have to call three months in advance, but it’s certainly worth the wait!
